Time goes by so much faster in www than it does in our daily lives.  At least when it comes to progression.  If you are out of the loop even a few months, you become light years behind.  Here is a great explanation of the past few levels of www progression.  It’s important for you to understand the market you are trying to reach, whether or not you are selling a product or service, although perhaps more so if you are selling a service.

The future is in the Web 3.0 mentality and beyond.  But, you must understand the pre web culture and the progression, in order to stay ahead of the game.
